Community Centre Development

• coordinate the usage of Community Centres

• ensure the functionality of all forty (40) Centres

• provision of furnishing for Centres

• assist in the setting up and monitoring of management systems at Centres

• ensure the development of centre-based community development activities. E.g. Pre School services, Skills Training, Consultations, Community meetings and workshops

Community Empowerment

• encourage the formation and assist in the strengthening of community organizations

• assist community organizations with the provision of resources for their capacity building activities

• assist community organizations in accessing training, resources and other assistance necessary to strengthen them

• collaborate with other agencies in community mobilization initiatives for the purpose of information sharing/gathering

• provide assistance to community organizations for local vacation camps /programmes

• assist communities in needs assessment and prioritization

• organize community meetings to discuss community development issues
