To promote the well-being and protection of families, advance gender equity, ensure the inclusion and rights of persons with disabilities, and strengthen labour systems through effective policies and partnerships.
The Gender Affairs Division hosted an orientation session on 19th July, 2019, for thirty (30) teen mothers who are registered under the Re-Entry of Teen Mothers Programme in 2019. This brings the total number of students who were given the opportunity to continue their secondary education for the 2019/2020 academic year to 85.
Public Assistance for the month of August 2019 will be paid in the following areas on the following dates from 9:00 a.m to 1:30 p.m.
