The Housing and Land Development Corporation (HLDC) is a statutory body inacted by Act No.7 of 1976 to give effect to the planning and development of housing and land for residential and community purposes, to provide for the designation and the acquisition of land by the corporation for development and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
The HLDC Mission is to assist the Ministry of Housing in improving the quality of life of low and moderate income families in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by making available to them affordable housing opportunities.
Accordingly, the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will, through the HLDC build one thousand (1000) low-income houses for sale by 2006.
The Project Implementation Unit headed by a Project Manager, will endeavour to make this a reality with the help of a very large segment of the population who has indicated overwhelmingly its interest in the project.
The unit invites to view this site and to avail yourself of information on how you can acquire one of these homes for you and your family.
