Earlier today, Friday, 26th April, 2024, the Child Development Division within the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Family, Gender, Youth, Housing and Informal Settlement held a march and rally which cumlinated at the Victoria Park.

Participants wore blue outfits and brought signs with messages against child abuse.

The march began at White Chapel Road, Kingstown at 10:00 a.m., went around Kingstown and concluded at Victoria Park, where the rally was held.

The Ministry also simultaneously held a Torch Run Against Child Abuse And Neglect which began at 9:30 a.m.

The run saw Secondary School students racing from Calliaqua; while Primary School students raced from Arnosvale to the Victoria Park.
