To promote the well-being and protection of families, advance gender equity, ensure the inclusion and rights of persons with disabilities, and strengthen labour systems through effective policies and partnerships.

The Ministry of National Mobilisation et. al., in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan, will host a hand-over ceremony of personal items to vulnerable clients of the Ministry.

The ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2024, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Georgetown Community Centre.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, along with Hon. Dr. Orando Brewster, Minister of National Mobilisation et. al, will visit the Biabou Learning Resource Centre and the Calliaqua Town Hall, where Ambassador Fan will also hand over similar packages to the clients of the Ministry of National Mobilisation, et. al.

This initiative is made possible through the kind cooperation of the Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan, the SimplyHelp Foundation and the Taiwanese Non-Profit Charity Organisation who provided the items that will be handed over.
