Empowering communities through equity and inclusion for a sustainable and resilient future.

To promote the well-being and protection of families, advance gender equity, ensure the inclusion and rights of persons with disabilities, and strengthen labour systems through effective policies and partnerships.

To bring awareness to our youth population, this year the Youth Affairs Division within the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development etc. will collaborate with the Division of Culture, the Royal Saint Vincent and the Police Force and the National Family Planning Unit to host “VINCY Youth Got Talent 2020 Virtual Competition”.

This initiative seek to encourage youth between the ages (10-15) ten to fifteen and (16- 30) sixteen to thirty years to utilize their talents in a professional manner.

In light of the 2020 pandemic, keeping the youth occupied is priory to us. It is our expectation that the program will reach youth across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in our COVID-19 awareness. To facilitate this process we would be executing this year’s edition via social media. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 13th to August 3rd, 2020.  On Monday, 20th July, the division and its stakeholders will launch this activity at a media briefing to take place at the Youth Affairs Division Conference Room commencing at 9 a.m.

Also, please  take note that, the Youth Affairs Division will host its  second awareness program on the topic “Youth Crime and the Law” on 22nd July, 2020.This session will take place in Marriaqua at the Immanuel High School Annex, commencing at 5 p.m.
