Biography

The Ministry of National Mobilisation, through the Social Protection Unit, on Tuesday, 8th May, 2018, took some 24 Senior citizens on a Windward tour of the island.

These senior citizens were primarily from the Calliaqua community.  The group toured the Argyle International Airport, South Rivers and Park Hill communities, the Rabacca River and Farms. It ended with a social at Black Point.

This outreach is being spearheaded by the Social Protection Unit, under the program geared at Senior Citizen Awareness and Activities Strategy.  Program coordinator, Agnes Llewellyn, was elated that the participants in the program were all excited to journey on the tour and enjoyed themselves in such social means.

The Unit is expecting to continue its outreach program throughout the island as they continue to celebrate the contributions of the Senior Citizens to our national product here in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
