St. Vincent and the Grenadines has achieved significant milestones with regard to the laws that protect the nation’s children.
That is according to Minister of National Mobilisation and Social Development, Family and Gender Affairs, Hon. Frederick Stephenson.
He was addressing stakeholders at the opening of the workshop on training for risk assessment and mental health screening in the Juvenile Justice Reform Program. The Minister said that the workshop plays an important part in the implementation of the Juvenile Justice Reform Project.
The four-day training workshop was being held in collaboration with USAID, UNICEF and the OECS, at Sunset Shores Beach Hotel.
