Students across the nation were recognised for their achievements under the Schools Co-operative Program during the National Schools Co-operative Awards Ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by the Co-operative Department in the Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education as part of activities to observe Co-operative Month.

Addressing the event, Minister of Co-operatives, Hon. Frederick Stephenson, said that the Schools Co-operative Program continues to show remarkable growth throughout the country.

Minister Stephenson said that the savings amassed by the students are used for a range of purposes.
