The Gender Affairs Division within the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development, et al. will commemorate International Men’s Day on November 19th, 2019.

This day is celebrated each year in seventy (70) different countries across the globe and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is privileged to celebrate with them. This year’s commemoration will focus on awareness of discrimination and male health; specifically on men’s mental health in promoting gender equality.  It would further focus on highlighting positive male role models and educating men on the numerous paths towards success.

The thematic focus will be narrowed in on the importance of mental health with a specific focus on “Imposter Syndrome” in achieving success.

On Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, the Gender Affairs Division cordially invites the general public to this Men’s Symposium at the Methodist Church Hall at 5:00 p.m. on the topic “Men and Masculinity: Shattering the Social Expectations of a Man and Success”.
